Matericalight represents the union of technological innovation and art. The design lays the foundation for the creation of original lighting bodies of their kind. The uniqueness lies in the uniqueness of the product used to coat the LED elements. Natural materials such as Arenaria stone, and Cement or iron oxidation processes that give birth to Corten make up the Matericalight line of lamps. Numerous studies and tests have been done on the material used to coat the lamps. In order to be used on LED equipment, the coating must meet certain parameters related to its ability to dissipate the heat produced by the LEDs. All the coatings used have passed the tests. These studies have resulted in LED fixtures that, in addition to the quality of the individual materials, impress with versatility, performance and aesthetic impact. Since each individual sheet of material is unique and unrepeatable, each coated lamp will have a variation of shades and colors. The tactile sensation, for each coating is very special. It feels like touching the natural element, with all its three-dimensional parts that make it distinctive.

Cement

Composed of a mixture of: natural stone, Pozzolan rock and Portland Cement, reinforced with fibers; it comes in two varieties of gray: light and dark. The manual production process tends to deliberately create a play of three-dimensionality, resulting in a cement that through bas-reliefs creates plays of shadow and light.

Oxide

It is a flexible concrete slab created by the natural oxidation of iron, obtained through artisanal processes.

Custom Corten and Aquarius

Obtained by customizing Oxide. Such Customization is achieved by working on the color through various craft manipulations. Two types of natural oxidation were used: corten and copper (Aquarius). And aging has been modified using a range of striated effects. Upon request, it is possible, by working on different parameters (color, discoloration, texture, etc.), to further customize this coating.

Travertine

The base for this cladding is a concrete composed of a mixture of natural stone, Portland cement, reinforced with fibers. Travertine, has a strongly textural effect, despite its thickness of 1 millimeter. It is inspired by one of the most appreciated and used materials in the world. Refined and elegant, in perfect balance for both classic and modern style.

Sandstone

A coating obtained through a special “peel” extraction process, resulting in thin sheets no more than two millimeters thick. The colors and shades obtained are created by sedimentary layering over millions of years.
