Diffusers are elements in the linear lamps, from where light escapes. They are composed of PMMA and can be: Opal (Milk White), Black and Prismatized. Indecision in choosing a cover is one of the most frequently asked questions by our customers. In fact, it is not always immediate to understand which one is the most correct one for one’s installation.
Opal Diffuser (Milk White)
Excellent light transmission: Indicative loss 10-15%.
Homogeneous light scattering: Reducing the cutoff between LEDs (eliminates the dot between LEDs)
Most used.
Black Diffuser
Light transmission: Indicative loss 30-35%
Homogeneous light scattering: Reducing the cutoff between LEDs (eliminates the dot between LEDs)
Aesthetically very good with elements of black or clad in corten, concrete or travertine
Prismatized Diffuser
The prismatic diffuser is mainly used in working environments for direct light, where it is necessary to decrease glare, that is, the annoyance given by the light source.
