ACI

MGvisio’s lights illuminate the Automobile Club of Italy in Milan. To adequately illuminate the entire Club building, MGvisio provided its design team to be able to offer the ideal lighting effect. The impressive custom-made design for ACI provided significant energy savings with excellent, intelligent lighting management. Totally managed with emergency devices, it was built using LEDs with different color temperatures, depending on their placement and type of results. Over 500 luminaires deliberately designed and manufactured to create the required effects. The unique result achieved expresses a form of craftsmanship. The light source encompassed in a circle representing a stylized wheel, a symbol of the automobile, with an essential but protagonist line. For ACI, different lighting solutions were chosen to emphasize the design and style of the interior office spaces. Each floor is illuminated by about 100 luminaires, some of which are equipped with a security system and a radar sensor. This amazing project came about through the intuition of MGvisio’s creative manager who, by rationalizing the irrational, clearly confirmed how much, through expertise and experience anything can be achieved, even the most inconceivable, impossible, unreasonable. An original and distinctive application, never before presented.

HIGH SPEED TRAINS

MGvisio has been dedicated to the prototyping and realization ofLED lighting equipment in the railway world and in particular high-speed trains; working with major competitors in the railway field. The design of trainlighting over time, has undergone significant changes. The designer‘s task, in this area is to design a welcoming environment despite the movement of the vehicle. It is crucial, when designing the relationship between artificial light and natural light; the issue to be solved is that the light from the equipment tends to flow through the windows, as it has no reflective walls. Therefore, the Led mainly compensates in terms of visual comfort for the gradual reduction of external natural light. Effective lighting not only improves the quality of light but also reduces electricity consumption: hence a significant reduction in costs. LED equipment, also in the field of railwaylighting, has a remarkable light output alongside reduced energy consumption. In this specific area, high-performance LEDs have been used in order to ensure long life alongside color stability resulting in reduced energy costs.
